Colette has been a visionary presence on the New York art scene since the early 1970’s. Her work encompasses many locales and mediums such as performance art, environments, female personas and art objects. Today, many of her ideas are echoed in the art world and throughout popular culture. This program gives the viewer a sampling of the many art events, installations and exhibitions of the work Colette has created. Included are interviews with Colette, critic/curator Bill Arning, Alanna Heiss, director of the P.S. 1 Museum and Peter Selz, noted art historian/critic.
