Jackie Ferrara: The Artist as Builder
For digital streaming licenses and institutional use, please contact [email protected].
This program looks at the work of an artist who makes abstract structures which are rooted in the minimalist tradition. Jackie Ferrara’s work is akin to site sculpture, landscape design and architecture, yet the synthesis of all these is entirely her own. This artist is dedicated to making art in public places and to creating experiential spaces for the viewer. The program includes interviews with Jackie Ferrara in her SOHO loft, her dealer Michael Klein and with art historian – curator Patricia C. Phillips.
